«We decided to create a Research and Development Center in the field of electric vehicles. It will focus on creating a universal platform for electric vehicles using domestic components, determine the requirements for the model range of the platform and design. Together with the MosTransProject Research Institute, the Center will develop and implement an unmanned transport in the city,» Sobyanin said.
According to him, the opening of such a center in Moscow is an important step towards achieving technological sovereignty in the field of electric vehicles.
«We already have sites where developments in this area are underway. On the basis of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, we have created an electric vehicle manufacturing cluster, which includes more than 40 companies.
