MOSCOW, Mar 20 President's Official Welcome Ceremony Vladimir Putin's Russia with Chinese President Xi Jinping will begin at 15.00 on March 21, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
The head of China will visit Russia on March 20-22 at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation. The visit will be his first trip abroad after being re-elected as head of state for a third term.
“The official meeting ceremony at 15.00, then everything will go one after another. Everything will already take place in the Grand Kremlin Palace,” Peskov said.
Beijing expects that the upcoming visit will strengthen mutual trust between the two countries. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, the visit will give new impetus to the development of bilateral relations. The leaders will discuss issues of further development of partnership and interaction between Russia and China. It is specified that a number of important bilateral documents will be signed.
