From the video of Vladimir Putin's trip to Mariupol, posted on the Kremlin's website, a fragment with a cry from a local resident «It's all not true, it's all for show» has been removed. The telegram channel “We Can Explain” drew attention to this.
The initial version of the video was published on the Kremlin website on March 19. The video told about Putin's trip to Mariupol, at the end he talked with local residents who received apartments in the Nevsky microdistrict. In the video, against the background of a conversation with the president, an unknown woman shouted — «It's all not true, it's all for show.» Judging by the video, at that moment Putin's guards turned sharply and began to look for the one who was shouting.

Later, the video was published by pro-Kremlin media, including RIA Novosti. After that, the ASTRA telegram channel drew attention to the cry of the Mariupol woman. As a result, an edited entry was uploaded to the Kremlin's website — already without the phrase «It's all not true, it's all for show.»
Earlier, local chats wrote about the staged nature of Putin's visit to Mariupol. “Everything is done for the picture on TV, so that they watch in Russia,” one of the comments said. In particular, many Mariupol residents were outraged that Putin came only to the newly built Nevsky microdistrict, while the rest of the city remains destroyed due to the war.
