The Buisky District Court of the Kostroma Region fined Dmitry Kulikov 1,000 rubles for the video «Punky Hoy!!!» 11 years ago on VKontakte. The decision was published on the website of the court, and the Information and Analytical Center “Sova” drew attention to it.
Kulikov was found guilty under the protocol on the demonstration of Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason for the administrative case was that one of the young people in the video posted by Kulikov in 2012 was wearing a T-shirt with a swastika.
The video about the movement of punks was discovered by police from the Buisky department during the monitoring of the social network VKontakte, now this entry has been deleted from Kulikov's page. According to the materials of the court, at the meeting, which took place on March 16, the young man pleaded guilty.
The court ruling notes that «fascist symbols in the form of a cross with crosses bent clockwise» were recognized by the Supreme Court as extremist and banned in Russia since August 2020.
