MOSCOW, March 23 In Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, a 17-year-old teenager was stabbed to death during a conflict, Olga Vradiy, senior assistant to the head of the Moscow Region Central Committee of the Investigative Committee, said.
“During the conflict, the accused injured two compatriots with a folding knife. The 17-year-old victim died on the spot, his 18-year-old friend was hospitalized,” she said.
According to a law enforcement source, all participants in the conflict are natives of Kyrgyzstan.
According to official data, the defendant, a 20-year-old native of «one of the neighboring states», was charged with the murder of a minor and attempted murder of another person. The prosecutor's office of the region in the telegram channel noted that he was detained.
Vradiy specified that all participants in the incident live in Moscow. Investigators and forensic experts examined the crime scene and seized a knife with traces of blood. Expert examinations were appointed, the accused and witnesses were interrogated.
“In the near future, the investigation will go to court with a petition to select a preventive measure against the accused,” she added.
In addition, the department will check the legality of the presence of foreigners on the territory of Russia.
