
MOSCOW, March 22 State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Alla Manilova introduced the staff of the Pushkin Museum to its new director — Elizabeth Likhachev. A message about this appeared on the page of the institution in VKontakte.
«We congratulate Elizaveta Likhacheva on her appointment as director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and are pleased to welcome you!» — the post says.
She replaced Marina Loshak, who headed the Pushkin Museum for ten years and left the post at her own request.
According to Marina Devovna, the institution «is on the right track.»
«The next person needs to come with new energy, with new thoughts, and with new ambitions to continue what others have started,» Loshak commented on her departure from the post of director.
Elizaveta Likhacheva previously worked at the Shchusev Museum of Architecture, where she joined in 2006, and in 2017 she headed the institution.
