Turkey refused to fully restore transit sanctioned goods to Russia. Deliveries are currently subject to a number of restrictions, according to Kommersant, citing logisticians.
For example, it is no longer possible to import products manufactured in the USA and Canada through Turkey, as well as some categories of goods from the country of production.
On March 20, Russian companies were able to arrange transit both at the airport and at truck terminals, but only for products manufactured in the European Union.
Clearance of American cargo with indication of «Russia» was blocked as the country of destination.
It also became known that the Turkish authorities distributed among local companies a list of sanctioned goods that are prohibited from being delivered to Russia from March 1, regardless of the country of origin.
< p> As noted by Kommersant, such steps may indicate that Ankara is ready to meet the European Union halfway and limit the transit of dual-use goods to the Russian Federation.
