Minimum one American A soldier was injured in a rocket attack on a US base in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria. This was reported by the Al Jazeera TV channel with reference to a high-ranking American official.
Earlier, it became known about the shelling of two American bases in Deir ez-Zor at once — at the Koniko and Omar fields. According to the Al-Mayadeen TV channel, eight missiles fell on and near the Koniko base.
Before that, the United States launched airstrikes on formations allegedly associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Syria. The Pentagon said that this is a response to a drone attack on a US base near the city of Hasek. It led to the deaths of five US military and one hired employee.
