Sales of the brand's models will start on the Russian market in May. In total, the company intends to launch “four new products” this year.
The Chinese manufacturer Chery created the Jetour brand in 2018: its models are designed for a younger audience. In general, the project was recognized as a success: in 2022, 180,000 sub-brand vehicles were sold in China, which is almost 17% more than a year earlier. To date, the «home» line of Jetour includes crossovers Dasheng (in export markets — Dashing), X70, X90 and numerous varieties of X-series models. In the future, the lineup will be replenished with several new products, including a brutal SUV, which was given the name Traveller.

The Jetour brand has decided to enter the Russian market (separately from the «parent» Chery, which is already represented in the Russian Federation). So, a corresponding official press release appeared, plus a local brand website was launched (although, perhaps, it is still worth working on its Russification). It is known that a distributor «Jetur Motor Rus» was created in Russia; the company held a conference for the first and potential dealers: so far, the collection of applications continues.
Sales of Jetour models will start on the Russian market in May, they are planned to be delivered from China. Note that the brand sends its cars to the countries of the Middle East, Central and South America, Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, as well as to some CIS markets (a total of more than 30 countries).

Dashing and X90 Plus crossovers will be the first-born of the brand in the Russian market: we talked about them in detail quite recently, as part of a large review of new products in 2023 in the Russian Federation. Jetour Dashing is a front-wheel drive SUV with a sloping roof, its length is 4590 mm. The basic version received a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 156 hp, paired with «mechanics». For richer versions, this engine comes with a preselective “robot”. Also in the Russian Federation, sales of the Jetour X90 Plus will begin in the near future. This crossover has a traditional body, three rows of seats, its length is 4858 mm. This model will be offered with the same 197-horsepower 1.6-liter turbo engine (equipped with 7DCT); the second in the range of versions for the Russian market is a 2.0-liter supercharged engine with a return of 254 hp. (gearbox same).

As told by Jetour, this year, the company intends to bring a total of «four new products» to the Russian market. The remaining two places will be occupied by Jetour X70 and Traveler. Earlier, we talked in more detail about the updated X-seventies, which is sold in China with the addition of Plus (other versions are also in service). Jetour showed the brutal Traveler at the beginning of this month: it is a five-seater SUV with a monocoque body and a «square» design. Like other models of the brand, it will receive equipment from Chery.
It is worth noting that Chery has other brands on the Russian market today. In addition to the “headline” of the same name, there are Exeed, Omoda and Kaiyi, and the assembly of the latter’s machines was organized at the Avtotor Kaliningrad plant.
