St. Petersburg, Mar 24In St. Petersburg, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of involving minors in the systematic use of alcoholic products, within the framework of it, the premises of bars were sealed, they were recognized as material evidence, the press service of the State Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city reported.
Earlier, the correspondent reported that the doors of about 20 bars on Dumskaya Street and Lomonosov Street in the historical center of St. Petersburg were sealed with a signal tape with the inscription «GSU for St. Petersburg IC of Russia.»
«The Central District Investigation Department initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involving minors in the systematic use (drinking) alcoholic and alcohol-containing products),» the investigative department reports.
According to investigators, on February 22, 2023, a currently unidentified person posted on the Internet an announcement about an event with an age limit of 16+ in one of the bars of St. sold it to an unlimited circle of minors.
According to the department, a search was conducted in a commercial structure that owns part of the premises leased for establishments where minors are systematically involved in the consumption (drinking) of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products, and lease agreements were seized.
«In addition, 17 bars located in the above premises were inspected, they were sealed and recognized as material evidence in this criminal case,» the SSAC added.
