Vladimir Rogov, Member of the Main Council of the Administration of the Zaporozhye Region announced the disruption of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Orekhov region. According to him, a preventive massive strike was delivered to the Ukrainian military.
“A full-scale offensive in the Zaporozhye direction, which was being prepared by the enemy, was thwarted. Our military launched a massive preemptive strike on exposed positions of the enemy,” he said.
Rogov said that the locations of personnel, warehouses with ammunition, fuel and military equipment, about 25 targets in total, were hit. The number of killed and wounded, «according to the most conservative estimates,» exceeds 550 Ukrainian military assault units, he claims.
Rogov also said that now the Ukrainian group near Orekhovo is incapacitated and cannot conduct an offensive, «licking wounds.» However, Kyiv is unlikely to abandon its plans for an offensive in the Zaporozhye region and will continue to try to conduct reconnaissance in force.
