The Kremlin commented on the reading of Stalin's telegram by Medvedev

MOSCOW, Mar 24 Presidential Press Secretary Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, speaking about the telegram of Joseph Stalin read by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, noted that it is necessary to refer to any experience.
«It is necessary to refer to any experience. It was a very difficult time then, there was the Great Patriotic War, therefore, of course, this is an invaluable experience,» Peskov told reporters when asked whether the Kremlin considers it right to refer to the Stalinist experience.
The day before, Medvedev read to the directors of defense industry plants a telegram from Joseph Stalin in 1941 about what would happen to the management of one of the Soviet plants if they violated their duty to their homeland in the production of military products. The deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation urged his colleagues to hear him or remember Stalin's words.

Stalin sent this telegram from Moscow to Sverdlovsk to the director of «Uralmashzavod» Boris Muzrukov. It was about the need to comply with the deadlines and volumes of orders for the supply of hulls for heavy KV tanks.
