MOSCOW, 25 Mar. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to drive as many troops as possible into Artemivsk has led to the city becoming a trap for a large formation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Douglas McGregor, former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, said on his YouTube blog.

Artemovsk is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the DPR north of Gorlovka. This is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian group in the Donbass. For more than half a year, fierce battles have been going on outside the city.
