Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro during a ceremony attended by the Chinese ambassador, he said that the actions of the United States and its allies against the Russian Federation are aimed at driving Russia into a corner and escalating the Ukrainian conflict.
According to him, the Venezuelan government knows about all movements in the geopolitical field of imperialism and its European allies. The event was broadcast by the Venezolana de Televisión TV channel.
“We clearly see that various provocations are being committed against Russia. With these actions, Western countries want to put the Russian Federation in a corner and threaten to try to escalate hostilities in Ukraine and transfer them to Russian territory,” Maduro said.
He added that, among other things, the United States and its European allies want to bring conflict in Ukraine to the nuclear level.
