Number of missing lead after the landslide of Ecuador increased to 46 people. The incident occurred in the city of Alausi in the central part of the country. This was reported by the Department of Emergency Situations of the country.
Previously, 16 deaths were reported.
Now the department reports a confirmed death of 7 people, 27 injured and that 46 are missing.
A total of 500 people were in the disaster area. 163 houses were damaged. Search and rescue operations are underway.
The landslide came down on March 27.
