It is known that dealers have already been shown the concept of the future novelty. They noted that family features will remain in his appearance.
The American brand Ram belongs to the young auto giant Stellantis, which was formed in early 2021 as a result of the merger of PSA and FCA (the previous names are not used now). The current model line of the brand includes vans and full-size pickups — the 1500 truck of the current generation and the same one of the previous generation (it has the Classic addition to the name). In the future, the brand will get an all-electric full-size pickup truck: the appearance of the production version of the Ram 1500 REV was declassified in the middle of last month.
: Ram 1500 REVThe big green truck may have a «little brother»: according to Automotive News, Ram is now developing a mid-size pickup truck that will also be all-electric. It is known that the concept of the future novelty already exists — the prototype of the model has already been shown to the brand's dealers. According to them, the model will borrow a lot from the «older relative», which has not yet officially debuted.
Recall that in appearance, the commercial version of the full-size “electric pickup truck” looks more like the current Ram 1500 truck with gasoline and diesel engines than the “green” concept, which was presented at CES in early January. From the current version with ICE, he received a cabin and a cargo compartment, but the front and rear look original. The novelty received head optics with LED strips of running lights, approximately like the concept. A luminous logo is located on the plug, located in the place of the radiator grille, and the stern of the “train” was decorated with “L-shaped” lights.

There is no specific information on what the new mid-size electric pickup will look like yet. The concept is «impressive» according to Randy Dai, who served as chairman of the Stellantis Dealer Board in 2022. He also noted that the appearance of the future «green» truck, obviously, will retain the Ram family traits.
It's worth noting that Ram/Dodge hasn't had a mid-size pickup truck in its portfolio since the Dakota was retired in 2011. At one time, this model had very solid performance in the American market: the peak for Dakota was 2000, then dealers managed to sell 177,395 copies. And a decade later, the figure dropped to 13,047 units.

According to preliminary data, the novelty will be based on the STLA Frame platform, the capacity of the traction battery may vary from 101 to 118 kWh, and the maximum power reserve on one charge for electric trains on this trolley is 500 km. There is no official data on the technology of the mid-size truck yet. The company has not yet announced the date of the presentation of the concept to the general public.
So far, there is no complete information about the full-size Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck, but Stellantis has already begun collecting pre-orders for this novelty. It is known that the production of this car will start in 2024, and the cars will reach dealers at the end of the same year. Prices, even approximate ones, have not yet been announced by the company.
