UN, Mar 28 Significant UNSC meetings in April, when Russia becomes the chairman of the Security Council, they will be devoted to the topics of multipolarity, the Middle East settlement, the problem of uncontrolled export of weapons, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the organization Vasily Nebenzya told reporters.
According to him, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will take part in some of them.
«Multipolarity in the developing world, open debate on the Middle East and before that — the problem of uncontrolled arms exports — this meeting will take place before the arrival of the minister. It will take place in early April,» Nebenzya said.
Answering a question about whether Lavrov received an American visa to arrive in New York, the permanent representative said: «It is their (the United States — ed.) duty, they must issue visas to the delegation.»
