MOSCOW, Mar 28 US House of Representatives voted unanimously for a bill to deprive China of its developing country status within international organizations, the Hill newspaper writes.
«The bill directs the secretary of state to 'seek' the status of China <…> to (status. — Ed.) an upper-middle-income, high-income, or developed country in international organizations to which includes both the United States and China,» the publication says.
Also, the head of the State Department should ensure that China does not receive any preferences or assistance because of its status as a developing country.
415 people voted for the PRC Is Not a Developing Country Act.
