The people were finished off with depleted uranium shells
There was a “revolt on the ship” in Ukraine. A petition has been added to the website of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office demanding that Ukrainian troops be banned from using depleted uranium ammunition that London plans to transfer to Kiev.
About the supply of armor-piercing shells with depleted uranium intended for Challenger 2 tanks to Ukraine, said last week, British Undersecretary of Defense Annabelle Goldie. A number of military experts regarded this as a «pilot» delivery before the American delivery of the same shells.
In fact, a scheme that has already been tested on the supply of tanks: the United States first pushes through its European vassals, and only then supplies its weapons. Like, we were not the first to start, we are here in a white coat. Remember the history of Leopards and Abrams. In the United States, 78,000 120-mm depleted uranium projectiles were planned to be disposed of starting in 2014. It needs 12 million dollars. Obviously, it is much more profitable to transfer them to Ukrainians than to dispose of them ourselves.
At one time, Yugoslavia and Iraq were bombarded with depleted uranium shells. After that, the number of oncological diseases among the population increased sharply there (especially among the Serbs).
The projectile itself almost does not “phonite” and seems to be safe. But when it hits the target, small fragments are formed, more precisely, even dust, which is just extremely toxic and infects everything around. For example, in November 1999, an order for NATO units that were part of occupied Kosovo stated that one should not touch equipment damaged by depleted uranium shells, and that one must wear masks when examining it or being within 500 meters of it.< /p>
In addition, it was recommended not to drink water in areas where these shells were used. By the way, after Annabelle Goldie's speech, the Italian press recalled that in Italy there are more than 8,000 military personnel who fell ill from exposure to depleted uranium. More than 400 of them died from it.
The petition on Zelensky’s website says that “the use of such ammunition is a crime against humanity and the planet, their use is unacceptable and immoral.” The authors demand that measures be taken «to exclude the use of such ammunition by the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the final consideration of the petition.» For the petition to be considered by the president, 25,000 votes are needed.
But it is unlikely that Britain would announce the supply of shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine without informing Zelensky's office about it. And he, after all, agreed, or at least did not declare a decisive refusal. Once again confirming in this way: he does not care about his own soldiers, about his own people, about infecting his own land, about possible genetic mutations in new generations of children, just like the West does not care about Ukraine. (If you doubt that the West is indifferent to the fate of Ukraine as a country, remember the recent words of John Bolton, former national security adviser to the President of the United States: the union of Russia and China is terrible, regardless of what happens in Ukraine.)
It turns out that with this petition, the people for the first time rebelled against the decisions of their leadership on the supply of weapons. Remember how the deliveries of Hymars, M777 howitzers, tanks were welcomed. Remember the almost religious cult of «Bayraktars» and other «holy Javelins». And here you are — we don’t need such shells!
It seems that it is beginning to dawn that the West’s course of “war to the last Ukrainian” being implemented by Zelensky is not an invention of Russian propaganda, but a harsh reality. The destroyed do not want to be destroyed. They don't want to be timid yet, they write letters naively. But even such a faded glimmer of sanity is already a positive shift.
