MOSCOW, 29 Mar. The concert of rapper Basta (Vasily Vakulenko) at the metro station «Kurskaya» was attended by more than two thousand people, the Moscow Department of Transport reports in the Telegram channel.
«The best thing that happened to Kurskaya today is Basta's concert. More than 2.2 thousand metro passengers became listeners. The moment when Olimpiysky is not needed,» the report says.
Vakulenko's concert became part of the «Music in the Metro» project on March 28. The rapper performed his hits «Samsara», «Graduation» and «My Game» to the accompaniment of live instruments.
The crowd immediately surrounded the artist. The listeners sang along with Baste and filmed his performance on the phone.
The rapper did not announce the event on the Internet, so his appearance in the metropolitan subway was a surprise for Muscovites and guests of the city.
The Music in the Metro project was launched in 2016. Beginners and popular artists took part in it. Polina Gagarina, Dmitry Malikov, Grigory Leps and Igor Butman performed their hits in the subway.
