The number of offers from businesses providing services in this area is also growing: in March alone, ads from private carriers and transport companies on Avito almost doubled (+ 88%) compared to last year. Experts of the Avito Services platform explained the growth in demand in this market and gave recommendations on how to quickly deliver the goods, so that it is both economical and safe.
Transportation for business: intercity and delivery to marketplaces
In order to carry out commercial transportation of goods, private entrepreneurs and large businesses are increasingly looking for contractors on Avito. In March of this year alone, compared to March 2022, demand increased by 51%. The most active demand for commercial transportation increased in Moscow (+124%), Khabarovsk (+118%), Novosibirsk (+101%), St. Petersburg (+90%) and Krasnodar (+87%).

As a result, demand for fulfillment services grew 3 times compared to last year. Fulfillment operators that provide transport services on Avito can not only pack the goods and prepare them for shipment to the marketplace, but also pick them up from the supplier and ship immediately to the buyer or to the marketplace warehouse. The demand for such services is growing, as they greatly simplify the operational activities of entrepreneurs who work with marketplaces.
At the same time, there is a significant acceleration in the growth rate of demand for transport services for business. Thus, a year earlier, in March 2022, the dynamics of growth in demand for commercial transportation on Avito Services was less — + 19% compared to 2021.
Private transport: moving and delivering personal items
One of the most frequent requests in the field of transportation among the segment of private customers is assistance with relocation. Both inside the city (for example, to a new apartment), and out-of-town moving to the country, as well as transportation of personal belongings. In March of this year alone, compared to the same period in 2022, the demand for the services of moving assistants in Russia increased by 27%, and for the services of loaders — by 45%. The residents of Nizhny Novgorod (+104%), Krasnodar (+90%) and St. Petersburg (+76%) used the services most actively during this period. In Moscow, demand increased by 25%.
