The Department of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case on the fact of beating a school student in Yakhroma by a teacher. This was reported to the Moscow agency in the press service of the department.
A criminal case was initiated under the article on negligence (Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code). As specified in the press service of the UK, the investigators are now interviewing the parents of the student and school staff.
In the morning, the group «ChP Dmitrov» on VKontakte published a video in which a teacher pulls her hair, roughly pokes her finger in the forehead and hits a schoolgirl on the back of the head, calling her a «stuffed animal». “Caution, Moscow” clarifies that everything happened in a lesson in the sixth grade of the Yakhroma school No. 2. According to the telegram channel, the teacher's name is Maria Kondratskaya, she teaches Russian language and literature.
The head of the Dmitrovsky urban district, Ilya Ponochevny, called the situation «unacceptable» and ordered an internal investigation.
Earlier, an account called «Parents of Students» published a petition on the Change.org website demanding that Kondratskaya be removed from work at the school. It says that the teacher “terrorizes” and insults children on a daily basis.
