MOSCOW, March 30 The Federal Security Service has detained the Deputy Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO), the Investigative Committee reported on its Telegram channel.
According to the Investigative Committee, the suspect demanded a bribe from a representative of a commercial organization in the amount of ten percent of the profits under a government contract under the national Healthcare project. For these purposes, he used an intermediary and received about two million rubles.
A criminal case was opened against the deputy governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug on taking a bribe in a particularly large size, and against his subordinate — about mediation.
Now searches are being carried out at the place of residence and work of the suspects, specialists are seizing the documentation necessary for the investigation.
