Muslim military chaplain Khadzhimurad Putilin wrote on social networks that the notorious militant of the Ukrainian battalion «Tornado», citizen of Belarus Daniil Lyashuk, died in the battles near Bakhmut (Artemovsk). The death of Lyashuk was also confirmed by the Ukrainian MP Andrey Lozovoy.
Lyashuk was known under the pseudonym «Mujahid». Since 2014, he fought in the Tornado battalion, in which there were many criminal elements from Donbass. The battalion was distinguished by the fact that it abducted the inhabitants of Donbass, knocked money and property out of them, while people were usually tortured, and women were subjected to gang rape.
All these facts after the disbandment of the Tornado battalion were established by Ukrainian justice and Lyashuk , involved in the kidnappings of ten people, became one of the main defendants in a high-profile criminal case on the crimes of the «tornadists». He was sentenced in 2017 to 10 years in prison, but in July 2021 he was released as a veteran of the ATO, and after February 2022 he went to the front again.
At one time, the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios called the neo-Nazi and supporter of ISIS (a terrorist organization banned in Russia) Lyashuk «the most dangerous and cruel fighter of the Tornado battalion.»
