According to the preliminary estimate of the Ministry of Finance, the federal budget of the Russian Federation in January-February was executed with a deficit of 2.581 trillion rubles, and the volume of federal budget expenditures in January-February 2023 amounted to 5.744 trillion rubles, exceeding the figures for the same period last year by 52%
The volume of income received in January-February amounted to 3.163 trillion rubles, which is 25% lower than the volume of income received in January-February 2022. At the same time, oil and gas revenues amounted to 947 billion rubles, which is 46% lower than last year. As noted by the ministry, this is primarily due to a decrease in price quotations for Urals oil and a decrease in natural gas exports. at the level of 26.13 trillion rubles (17.4% of GDP), expenses — 29.056 trillion rubles (19.4% of GDP).
