The Emelyanovsky District Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory fined a prisoner from the regional IK-7 for talking with cellmates. Information about this was published on the website of the court, Prospekt Mira drew attention to the decision.
The prisoner's name is Alexander Cherepyanko, he was found guilty of «discrediting» the army because of a conversation with three other prisoners. According to a court order, in late December, Cherepyanko said in a conversation that the real goals of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine did not coincide with those declared by the Russian authorities.
In his opinion, Russia started the war to seize Ukraine and remove the government of Vladimir Zelensky, and not to protect the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR and the «denazification of Ukraine.» From the point of view of the prosecutor's office, with these words, Cherepyanko “discredited and undermined the credibility of the <…> special military operation.
At the same time, as follows from the information on the website of the court, the conversation of the prisoner was recorded on a dictaphone — the security forces provided a recording of the conversation as evidence. At the meeting, Cherepyanko said that during the conversation, the witnesses in his case were not even in the same room with him, and he himself did not say anything negative about the war.
