Terrorist Darya Trepova, who killed military commissar Vladlen Tatarsky, was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow for two months. She will remain in jail while the investigation is ongoing. Earlier, a number of media reported: literally at the first interrogation, Daria Trepova said that the exploded figurine was handed over to her in Moscow. So, according to one version of the investigation, Trepova made it with her own hands and herself pressed the «button» to activate the bomb while in a cafe.
— Trepova could have made the figurine herself, since she was engaged in such a «hand-applied» creativity, there are photographs of her works from clay, and they completely coincide in «handwriting»; with the one that was in the hands of Tatarsky, — told «MK» law enforcement source. — It is clear that either in Moscow it was made, or in St. Petersburg, since the figurine is completely new, according to the examination. And, judging by the movement of the detainee, everything converges.
But they filled the figurine with explosives, most likely already in St. Petersburg, since Trepova could not carry this bomb at the airport, train station, etc. through all kinds of cameras, reading devices that are located there.
In addition, the source said that, most likely, the terrorist herself controlled the explosive device, activated it herself at the right time and moment.
"The glass windows of the cafe where everything happened are large, but nothing is visible from the street that is happening inside, they are darkened, — the law enforcement officer said. — And the wave from the explosion was directed, by the way, precisely at the military correspondent. That is, the goal of the terrorists was one — murder of Tatarsky.
It was impossible to control the explosion from the street or from places near the cafe, buildings. It is possible, of course, that Trepova's accomplice was inside, but this is unlikely. This woman has surprisingly cold, one might say, iron nerves. She doesn't care what happens to her. She just laughs in her face — and she didn’t even shed a tear.
