MOSCOW, April 4 They tried to crush Russia with sanctions, but nothing happened, but you need to remember that this is a «long fight» and this is a question of the competitiveness of the Russian Federation, its place in the world economy, said Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
«They tried to crush us with sanctions — they did not succeed. But we must remember that this struggle is long-term. This is a question of our country's competitiveness, this is a question of the place that the country can and should occupy in the world economy,» Kiriyenko said at the launch of the fifth anniversary season of the Leaders of Russia contest.
He recalled that today the finalists and winners of the «Leaders of Russia» competition are participating as volunteers in a special operation, helping in hospitals, working in government in the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.
