Gas prices in Europe fell below $500 per 1,000 cubic meters
The cost of gas on the European market has seriously fallen in price. This follows from the data of the ICE exchange.
According to the results of trading on April 6, gas prices fell below $490 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. That is, the decrease was recorded at a rate of 2.6%. Trades opened at $507 per 1,000 cubic meters. The minimum price for trading is $483.2 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas.
Note that a decrease in gas prices in the European market has been observed since the end of 2022. At the end of March 2023, gas prices dropped to $450 per 1,000 cubic meters, which is 8 times lower than the same period last year.
