MOSCOW, April 5 Presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko met in the Kremlin, the correspondent said.
In the open part of the conversation, the Russian leader noted the successful cooperation between Moscow and Minsk in the international arena.

"I want to once again congratulate you on the Day unity of the peoples of Russia and Belarus, we celebrated this on April 2. I must say that a lot has been done as a result of our joint work in all areas. Tomorrow, I repeat, we will discuss all this,” Putin said.
The head of state specified that on Thursday, at a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, the presidents would touch upon the topic of joint security.
Putin drew attention on the successes of interaction in the economy.

Lukashenko, in turn, stressed that 28 allied programs to deepen economic integration have been implemented by almost 80 percent.
