WASHINGTON, Apr 6 The IMF sees a slowdown in economic activity in the US and the eurozone due to higher interest rates and expects that about 90% of developed countries will face slower growth, said Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
«Economic activity is slowing in the US and the Eurozone, where higher interest rates are weighing on demand. About 90% of advanced economies are expected to face a slowdown in their growth this year,» she said, speaking at an event in Washington.
