
HANOI Apr 6 Vietnam does not support sanctions against Russia and isolation of the country, said Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
«We do not support sanctions, we do not support the isolation of Russia. We are a responsible member of international cooperation. We do not choose sides, we choose justice,» Pham Min Chin said.
The Prime Minister added that he was pleased with the strengthening and development of the strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam, and spoke about the need to improve the quality of this cooperation «in accordance with the current situation.»
«I am very grateful for the warm welcome extended to our delegation… Vietnam is our reliable and long-standing partner, our relations have not been subject to change for more than 70 years and no conjuncture. We will definitely not change our relations that were established by our ancestors,» Deputy Prime Minister Chernyshenko said in turn.
