MOSCOW, April 7 A meteorite allegedly fell in the Ust-Kutsky district of the Irkutsk region, numerous cameras recorded the fall of a celestial body, the district administration confirmed that city residents could observe the glow late at night.
On Friday, a video of the fall of a celestial object on the outskirts of the city of Ust-Kut appeared on social networks, after which a flash appeared in the sky. Social networks suggested that the cameras recorded the fall of a meteorite. Eyewitnesses noted that the street became sharply light for a second, and because of the flash in the room it became light for a moment.
In turn, the administration of the Ust-Kutsk region confirmed that last night the inhabitants of the city could observe an unusual phenomenon in the sky.
«At 22.47 local time, a bright glow suddenly appeared over the city, outwardly similar to a comet. Have you seen this miracle of nature?», the district authorities said.
