SUKHUM, Apr 6 Russian leader Vladimir Putin sent a telegram to the President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya, congratulating him on his anniversary, the press service of the head of the republic reports.
Bzhania turned 60 on Thursday.
«Dear Aslan Georgievich, please accept my sincere congratulations on your 60th birthday,» is the text of the Russian President's congratulations.
He noted that in Russia Bzhaniya is known as a consistent supporter of strengthening relations of alliance and strategic partnership between the two countries. «I look forward to continuing a constructive dialogue with you and joint work — for the benefit of the friendly peoples of Russia and Abkhazia. I wish you good health, prosperity and success in your state activities,» the telegram says.
