In the coming year, employers in the Russian Federation will actively pay attention to applicants over 50 years old. Anna Rudakova, Director of the Career Center of Synergy Corporation, HR strategist, gave this forecast.
The expert clarified: “The surge in the direction of age candidates was influenced by the departure of migrants, covid restrictions, partial mobilization and the departure of part of the working population abroad ”.
Another reason for the interest in applicants over 50 years old is that, the expert pointed out, they have those working professions that young Russians are not very willing to go to.
Another factor young people immediately apply for a salary of 100-300 thousand rubles, but 90% of employers cannot offer a similar salary level, while people over 50 are more loyal to the market.
Also, candidates over 50 are more inclined follow the rules and regulations.
