MOSCOW, April 7 A resident of Tambov will be convicted of raping his ex-girlfriend and murdering her new boyfriend out of jealousy, according to the SUSK RF for the Tambov region.
It was previously reported that the defendant tracked his ex-girlfriend by secretly installing a GPS tracker on her car. On the night of September 22, 2022, a man came to the house where his ex-girlfriend was with her boyfriend, and out of jealousy shot the man with an air gun, and then beat and raped the girl. He took the man's body into the forest and burned it. The next day, the family of the victim contacted the police with a statement about his disappearance.
«The investigating authorities of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Tambov Region completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 35-year-old previously convicted local resident accused of committing crimes under Article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape), 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violent acts of a sexual nature), 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder), Article 137 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of privacy),» the committee said in a statement.
The criminal case has been submitted to the court for consideration on the merits, the accused has already been convicted of illegal possession of weapons.
