MOSCOW, April 7 The Moscow metro can switch to unmanned control in 5-10 years, the deputy mayor said at a press conference on Friday Moscow on transport issues Maxim Liksutov.
According to him, unmanned control, in addition to technological progress, should have an economic effect, and security issues should be resolved.
«We have our own radio frequency range, which will allow us to use the range in the metro in the future, switch to unmanned control technologies. My opinion is that this will take about 5-10 years,» Liksutov said.
At the same time, the deputy mayor emphasized that it was not worth removing train drivers from the metro.
