MOSCOW, April 7 Alexey Melnikov, executive secretary of the PMC of Moscow, denied the information about the presence of Daria Trepova, accused of a terrorist attack in a St. Petersburg cafe, in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center where military commander Vladlen Tatarsky died.
Earlier, HRC member Eva Merkacheva said that Trepova had been placed in Lefortovo. At the same time, the first deputy chairman of the PMC of Moscow, Nikolai Zuev, reported that the accused could be placed in one of three isolation wards: the women's pre-trial detention center-6 or the Lefortovo and Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention centers under federal control.
«Reports about the whereabouts of Daria Trepova (allegedly she is in the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center) are not true. As soon as we visit her, I will tell you. At the moment we have a lot of requests from citizens who need a quick response from the commission,» Melnikov wrote. in the telegram channel.
An explosion took place on April 2 in a cafe on the Universitetskaya embankment in St. Petersburg, the well-known war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was killed, dozens were wounded. The next day, a suspect was detained — a Petersburger Daria Trepova. According to the NAC, the assassination of Tatarsky was planned by the special services of Ukraine with the involvement of agents from among the supporters of the Anti-Corruption Foundation * Alexei Navalny.
Initially, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on murder in a generally dangerous way, and then toughened the article to a terrorist attack and trafficking in explosives. Trepova faces up to 25 years in prison. On April 4, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested her for two months.
