MOSCOW, April 7 The start of serial deliveries of the latest domestic aircraft MS-21 is scheduled for 2024, 6 liners will be handed over to airlines , said Rostec.
«The start of serial deliveries of the latest MS-21 aircraft is scheduled for next year, 6 aircraft will be delivered. Gradually we will increase production rates,» the state corporation notes.
«As for the PD-14 power plants, which will equip the new aircraft, their mass production has already been launched at the United Engine Corporation plant in Perm. It is planned to transfer 14 engines next year,» the report adds.
MS-21 is a domestic medium-haul passenger aircraft of a new generation with a capacity of 163 to 211 passengers. The liner is focused on the most demanded segment of the passenger transportation market. It is created on the basis of the latest developments in the field of aircraft construction.
