The Syktyvkar City Court of the Komi Republic arrested Ilya Boloban, an employee of the regional office of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, in the case of robbery with violence (clause “d” of part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code). This was reported on the court's page on VKontakte.
According to investigators, on March 27, Boloban, «acting out of selfish motives,» knocked a visitor to the party's office to the floor and beat her. After that, according to security forces, he stole a phone worth 59,000 rubles from her.
As noted by 7×7, Tatyana Kuznetsova, a resident of Syktyvkar, wrote a statement against the man. She claims that on that day she came to an appointment with State Duma deputy Oleg Mikhailov, but Boloban, his colleague Viktor Kokorev and party supporter Svyatoslav Krasikov beat her and took away her phone.
Oleg Mikhailov himself, to whom Kuznetsova intended to get , called the woman a «provocateur». “When I asked her to go out into the corridor, she started screaming and swearing, asked me to call an ambulance for her. I told her that she looked great and did not need an ambulance. She refused to leave. As a result, the police were called, and she said that her phone had been stolen,” the deputy recalled in a conversation with Sever.Realii.
April 6, Kokorev, Krasikov and Boloban were searched. After investigative actions, the latter was detained and sent to a temporary detention facility.
