
St. Petersburg, April 8 The Syktyvkar City Court has arrested Ilya Boloban, an assistant to State Duma deputy from Komi, Oleg Mikhailov, on charges of robbery with violence against journalist Tatyana Kuznetsova, who came to a personal reception with the deputy, the press service of the court reported.
According to local media reports, on March 27, Kuznetsova came to the office of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in Syktyvkar, where Mikhailov held a personal reception, intending to find out about the results of the deputy's work in the State Duma. The journalist tried to make an appointment for the next appointment, but when the office staff saw the phone, they attacked the woman and took away the mobile. The victim called an ambulance, removed the beatings, and then wrote a statement to the police.

According to investigators, on March 27, Boloban, in the office of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, knocked Kuznetsova to the floor and inflicted multiple blows on her body with his hands and stole her cell phone worth 59 thousand rubles.
Earlier, Mikhailov reported that the incident with Kuznetsova occurred when the deputy held a personal reception of citizens. According to him, «she showed up … at the office, looked into the office, said that she would like to get» to the reception. The deputy asked to wait for her in the corridor. He noted that after some time the journalist came in and said that she had some kind of conflict there, she was offended and insulted there.
As clarified in the Syktyvkar city court, when choosing a preventive measure for Boloban, the court took into account that the victim’s phone has not yet been found, and “an eyewitness called for questioning as a witness to the events in question left Syktyvkar.”
The press service of the court added that a personal guarantee against Boloban Mikhailov was denied.
