MOSCOW, April 9 Neural networks, despite the ability to process and analyze a large amount of data, will not be able to force people out of work in such areas as medicine, education, art and social services, said Rinat Galyamov, head of technology for audio analytics and semantic analysis of the directorate for artificial intelligence and digital products of Beeline.
“Not all types of work can be replaced by neural networks. For example, AI cannot replace professions that require empathy and human contact. These include work in the arts, medicine, education and social services. These areas require human skills and qualities that cannot be recreated using neural networks,» he said.
According to the expert, in some cases, neural networks can complement human labor. For example, in medicine, for the diagnosis of MRI images, however, the final decision on treatment is still made by the doctor based on his knowledge and experience.
At the same time, there are tasks that are more suitable for such technologies. «Neural networks can successfully solve tasks that require a large amount of repetitive work, analyzing large amounts of data, searching for patterns, etc. Such tasks can include speech and image recognition, image classification, product and service recommendations, and much more,» concluded Galyamov.
At the end of March, the Zarplaty.ru research center conducted a study for , which showed that 18% of Russians are confident that neural networks in the future will be able to fully replace specialists in a number of professions, and almost half believe that this is likely, but not in the near future.
As noted by the study participants who are confident in the capabilities of artificial intelligence, in the future the neural network will be able to replace designers, marketers, copywriters, programmers and logisticians, accountants, sales managers, HR specialists, financiers, sociologists, lawyers, journalists , teachers and psychologists. » data-title=»Neural networks are already able to steal personal data, the expert said»>
