In the village of Pokrovo-Mikhailovk, Belgorod Region, two 17-year-old teenagers were injured when they tried to cut a shell from the Great Patriotic War, found in the garden. This was announced by the Governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.
According to the head of the region, the teenagers noticed a rusty shell when they were removing garbage from the site. When they tried to cut it, there was an explosion. One of the boys received a concussion, and the second — shrapnel wounds to the legs and left arm. The latter was hospitalized.
Gladkov also asked parents to tell the children not to pick up dangerous objects and disassemble them. “Due to the situation in the region, this should be a daily job!” he added.
