MINSK, April 8Belarus expects to get access to the purchases of Russian state corporations as soon as possible — the parties agreed to synchronize legislation in this area by the end of the year, said Ambassador of the Republic to the Russian Federation Dmitry Krutoy.
«As for access to public procurement, the parties agreed to complete the synchronization of legislation this year. It is very important for us to gain access to the procurement of the largest Russian state corporations,» the ambassador stressed on the Saturday air of the Belarus 1 TV channel.
«Here, by and large, one key to solving the problem is a digital signature, its recognition and, in general, the recognition of electronic documents. And we agreed that all “Somewhere by the middle of the year we will try to reach a solution to this problem in order to report to our presidents by the end of the year,” Krutoy added.
In addition, in the same interview, the diplomat said that Belarus and Russia have already implemented eight of the 28 previously adopted allied programs. According to him, out of all the activities envisaged by 28 programs, about 80% have already been completed. At the same time, the remaining 20%, according to Krutoy, does not mean the presence of any difficulties: a number of issues within the programs are relegated to a longer perspective.
