SARATOV, Apr 9 A car and a fire truck collided in the Dukhovnitskoye district center of the Saratov region, five children and three adults were injured, Oleg Kostin, Minister of Health of the region, said in his telegram channel.
“At 16.52 (15.52 Moscow time), the village of Dukhovnitskoye, the intersection of Krasnoarmeiskaya and Svoboda streets, a fire truck collided with a car. Eight people were injured, including five children, residents of the village of Dukhovnitskoye,” wrote he.
According to the minister, five boys from 7 months to 9 years old were injured, three of them were hospitalized in a state of moderate severity with a closed craniocerebral injury and brain concussion. The injured adults refused hospitalization.
As the press service of the regional traffic police department told reporters, a VAZ-21074 car driven by a man born in 1963 collided in Dukhovnitsky, and an AC-40 fire truck at the base ZIL-131 driven by a man born in 1962.
