The Leninsky District Court of Cheboksary appointed two years forced labor to Elena Blinova in the case of participation in the Artpodgotovka movement by Vyacheslav Maltsev, recognized as extremist in Russia. Blinova told Idel.Realiyam about this.
The prosecutor requested a real term for the former kindergarten teacher — three years in prison.
A criminal case against the activist was opened at the end of 2021. Relatives said that during the search, the security forces seized a tablet and a phone from her 12-year-old son and offered to exchange them for her mother's phone.
According to Idel.Realii, there were 11 episodes in the case, including Blinova's participation in Maltsev's broadcasts (Part 2 of Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code).

Blinova began participating in protest actions, including in the «walks of free people» by Maltsev's supporters, at the end of 2016 , when she was still working in the Cheboksary kindergarten No. 203. Because of this, the police came to work for her, and in April 2017 she was fired by the head of the garden, a member of United Russia.
Starting from 2017 the court fined the woman three times, both of whose children were then minors. The first time the fine was imposed because of a photo of deputy Vitaly Milonov in a T-shirt with the recognized extremist slogan «Orthodoxy or Death», and then twice more — because of publications with the symbols of «Artpodgotovka» (Articles 20.29, 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
