MOSCOW, 7 Apr. Singer Yuta (Anna Osipova) in an interview with Boris Korchevnikov revealed the details of communication with the participants of the special operation.
The artist remembered her acquaintance with the Hero of Russia, the commander of the marines with the call sign Struna.
«
"Struna is the commander of a platoon of marines. He served in Mariupol and was seriously injured, left without a leg. We met when he was in a hospital in Moscow. He behaved with dignity at our first meeting and showed that he was strong and could handle it. I immediately realized that he was a national hero,” said the celebrity.
She also spoke about the personal qualities of the commander.
“Looking at these guys, you understand that nothing is impossible. I congratulated Struna on the title of Hero of Russia. He understands the burden of his responsibility. He has natural modesty and Christian humility,” Yuta added.
In the hospital, she met and with another Marine squad leader called Rokot. According to the performer, the soldier immediately received her warmly.
«
"Together with Struna, the commander of the Marine squad, Rokot, fought. We met in the hospital. He came up and said: «Great, I'm Antokha!» Do you know how Rokot calls me? He calls me and says: «Hey, brother!» There is a crazy thrill in this. You understand that you are yours. This is a priceless thing,» the singer concluded.
The commander of a marine platoon with the call sign Struna was one of the first to enter Mariupol. The serviceman admitted that he had to not only fight the enemy, but also save the locals. However, he never showed his face and gave interviews wearing a balaclava. Also Struna did not reveal his name.
When performing a combat mission, the Marine lost his leg. He was awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
Colleague Struna with the call sign Rokot also had his leg amputated — the military man stepped on a mine. After recovery, he returned to the front line.
Singer Yuta performed for the first time in Donbass in 2015. After the start of the special operation, she supported her. In addition, the performer dedicated several songs to Russian servicemen.
