
MOSCOW, Apr 10 the soldier, who served a year and a half, scored 25 thousand signatures necessary for its consideration by Vladimir Zelensky, follows from the data on his website.
«Allow demobilization in Ukraine after 18 months from the moment of mobilization,» the title of the petition says. According to the platform's rules, if a petition has garnered 25,000 signatures in 92 days, Zelensky must give an official response to it.
The author of the petition, Verkhovna Rada deputy Aleksey Goncharenko, also published a record about the petition reaching the required mark, recalling that he had already submitted the relevant bill to the Rada.
In Ukraine, on February 24, 2022, martial law was introduced, the next day Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, men liable for military service are forbidden to leave the country.
