A resident of the Oryol region, who participated in the war with Ukraine, became a defendant in a criminal case of sexualized violence against a 10-year-old girl. This is reported by the human rights organization Travmpunkt.
A man is a suspect under the article on sexual assault against a person under the age of 14 (part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, in March, a resident of the Oryol region molested his 10-year-old stepdaughter. This was noticed by the girl’s mother, after which she called the police.
According to the Trauma Center, from August to November 2022, the man participated in the war in Ukraine. His wife reported that after returning from the front, he began to drink frequently and show aggression towards family members.
