MOSCOW, 10 Apr. Hungarian football club Ferencváros has extended the contract with head coach Stanislav Cherchesov for one season.
The specialist has been working in the team since December 2021, under his leadership the club won the championship and the Hungarian Cup.
«
The club has activated the option to extend the contract until the summer of 2024. Now everything must be done to successfully complete the Hungarian Championship, and at the end of the tournament we will again discuss with the management the issue of strengthening the squad before the new season,» Cherchesov told the Sport-Express newspaper.
Before being appointed to the Hungarian club specialist led the Russian national football team.
